Contact Abby | Privacy Policy | Disclaimer I am a spiritual teacher, a psychotherapist, an energy healer and a writer, emerging from a background of science and education and working from a first-hand experience of the spiritual alchemical process. I started off as a Scientist, obtaining a Masters Degree in Marine Biology. Working in Sydney Australia as a Research biologist I realised that Ireland was my home and I needed to be here so I returned in 1990. Jobs in Marine Biology in Ireland are far and few between so I became a computer applications trainer, creating and running workshops with the International Academy of Computer Training, who were  based in Stephens Green at the time. I expanded so greatly in my work I set up my own company within a year, specialising in computer software and web design. It got to the stage where I wanted to reach a wider audience so I became a scriptwriter and a course designer for a leading Irish Electronic Learning company. I was the course designer and subject matter expert there, but again something was missing - computers are not where my heart is, even though Ireland was. My fascination was around the human actualisation process, so I began a degree course in Psychotherapy and Counselling.  I had been a gifted energy healer since very young but didn't know that there was a name for it, so when I discovered Shamanism I truly came home! I studied at the Four Winds School and qualified as a Shamanic Practitioner while continuing to pursue my degree in Psychotherapy. I also got my full certification as a Reiki Master Teacher, and a Seichem Master Teacher. Fully qualified and ready to go, I opened my private practice in 2010 and co-founded the Ranelagh Holistic Centre in 2011, where I now see people for private sessions and teach workshops. Always a writer at heart, I continue to write and publish articles, I have appeared in the Chronic Pain Ireland newsletter, De-Stress for Life Magazine and All Things Healing.com. I am an expert author on ezinearticles.com, I am the editor for Reiki Federation Ireland and I am currently working on several books. I have been interviewed twice for the National magazine Woman's Way, appeared on radio both National and Regional. I am a registered member of Reiki Federation Ireland, an affiliate member of IACP  (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a member of the International Society for Shamanic Practitioners. I am part owner of the Ranelagh Holistic Centre. I work in a highly professional and ethical manner, and all client sessions are completely confidential.
